What is Erectile Dysfunction?
Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is a common sexual disorder. Men affected by ED have consistent trouble with achieving and maintaining an erection firm enough to have satisfactory sexual intercourse. This can have a significant effect on the quality of life of men and their partners.

There are different causes to this condition
Vascular Cause

What is Peyronie’s Disease?
Peyronie’s Disease is an acquired and generally progressive condition of the penis. It involves the fibrous replacement of the normal elastic tissue of the erectile bodies. Most men notice the presence of the disease when they feel thickened nodules under the skin of the penis. As the condition progresses, pain may occur in the erect or flaccid penis. Curvature of the penis when erect also occurs, making intercourse difficult or even impossible.
Treatments
There are different options for treating this disease. One of them is a trial of this novel approach.
When treating Peryronie’s disease, the pain points in the penis are treated with LISWT. In a pilot study, shock waves were delivered to the flaccid penis once a week for a period of five weeks. The studies showed a positive outcome in relation to reduction in pain on erection.
